Job Description: As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and help them leverage data to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Conduct strategic and statistical analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and quality checks as needed.
- Manage and Drive analytical projects from inception to completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Data Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
